Parmesan Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients:

-Potatoes (red or russet) (Sliced thin and evenly)

-4 cups of Heavy Cream

-4-5 garlic cloves

-1/2 white ontion (diced)

-5-6 springs of fresh thyme

-1 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese

(season with Salt, Garlic Salt, Pepper)


Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2. Slice potatoes thin and evenly and line a buttered baking dish with the potatoes

4. In a pan sauté the onions with a bit of butter and vegetable oil

5. Mince garlic cloves and add to onions put on medium heat to not burn garlic

6. Add in thyme to onion mixture and sauté until onions are translucent

7. Add Heavy cream and season with salt, garlic salt and pepper (season heavly with salt since potatoes need lots of salt)

8. Let mixture come to a light boil and take off heat

9. Pour mixture on top of potatoes and top of half of the parmesan cheese

10. Put foil on baking dish and put in oven for 45 minutes check if potatoes are done if not add more time when done take foil off and add rest of parmesan cheese and let brown on top.
